Yesterday was fun.
Had the official meeting in the morning to discuss about, something. Yeah, and after discussion, Simon, me, Amira, Shaheila and YuZheng went to buy some of the stuff we need from Popular Jurong Point. Spent quite alot of money there, but came back with what we needed. Before we proceeded back, we went to Jannah's house!! It was her birthday yesterday, and we all had a fun time together with some other councillors and her family to mark the occasion. Simon bought her a bouquet of sunflowers, so nice right?
Anyway, it's a short visit since we still have to go to the Concourse down at Lavender to buy some more items. So we returned to school and stored our stuff in the furniture room (as usual). Then we took a 99 ride down to Clementi, where we changed to MRT train to Lavender.
As we reached Lavender, most of our stomachs are already empty, so we decided to stop by the North Bridge Road Marketplace to have lunch first. It's so cool to eat with the shadows so far away from school!! We really split up at the market to hunt for good food, then gathered back and enjoyed a super nice meal!
After lunch we made our way to the Concourse, where we found ourselves wanting to line dance together with some people at the basement. But oh well, we don't know the steps, and we tried, at the very least. We got the stuff we wanted, and after a tense moment of confrontation between Simon and someone else, we headed back to the MRT.
And there's where the fun begins.
We went down to Suntec FOOD FAIR!! And we shopped and ate and shopped and ate and took photos with Tweety and Slyvester there. Gosh, we really went full there la, better than the trip I had two days ago.
I've ate Shark's Fin Soup, Dong Pao, Ice Cream, Sausage, etc etc. There's really too many to be named! We ate and ate and ate, walked and walked, then when we finished the entire fair, we're like, huh? No more?
But after that, we headed down to Esplanade to take a short rest inside the Library, and went out after that. Suddenly have desire for water activity, so the remaining of us got on a boat and toured Singapore River on water!! We waved and waved to the people on shore, then talked crap on the boat itself. When we eventually left after the late late dinner at KFC Marina, I was so tired out.
What a day. And really, it isn't the stuff you plan to do that is fun, but it's the stuff you do without planning that's really fun!
Until next time!!
