There you have it. Prom nite is over. A memorable and thrilling day for all of us.

We ceased to be secondary school students. Yet, we'll still remain true pure Commonwealthians. I'm sure many or all would agree. Nothing's fair to the point that you are served the world on a platter. Some old habits are met to be let go off with the changeover from secondary school to pre-university.

It all ended yesterday night at 11pm. Tears flowed in some of our eyes, some would only see each other again in March next year, and then never again, eventually losing contact forever. Some may be seeing each other from January, in the same JC, or working together waiting for the Os results. Some will see each other again the next day, where activities were lined up for the special people who made up 2 years in CSS history with me. Whatever the future holds, we do not know. Yet i'm sure that friends for now also means friends for life.

We are the class of 2005.

A memorable day indeed. Emotions felt, laughter, joy, happiness, yet also the sorrow and sadness of seperation. People joked as they left the place in groups, pairs and never alone. People cried as they talked to each other, remembering the precious times they had in CSS. People take as many pictures as they can, with as many friends so that prom nite is remembered well. People not wanting to go home after the prom even though it's already 11pm.

I'm sure it will.

Congrats to prom king and queen, Mandric and Sarah, Mr and Mrs Popular, Mandric(again) and Lai Ka, Mr Charming, Good old Willy, and more. Jia Jun, Jia Min, Jasmine Tan, Chin Hua and the rest. Congrats to me for my lame picture for the challenge which won me 4th and a pencil case.

This is a good-bye from a secondary 4 student, Ooi Kang Sheng. He is saying good bye as a secondary school student, the final farewell one could get from a secondary school friend. There'll be more farewells to exchange along the way, yet this farewell of 16 year-olds would never be the same as the other farewells. Never.

We live. We love.

We are more than just students, we are more than competitors.

We are _____________.

I've taken many photos, yet I can't upload them now. It's 4 plus in the morning and I got to go back to pasir ris costa sands in the morning for checking out.
